Required for megakaryocyte differentiation, maturation, polyploidization and apoptosis with the release of platelet-like particles (PubMed:11568009). Plays a role in osteoclastogenesis (OCG) and actin cytoskeletal organization in osteoclasts (By similarity). Regulates chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation (By similarity).
